Un mouvement mondial est en train de prendre de l’ampleur de par l’implication d’entreprises engagées et toujours plus nombreuses (plus de 3’500 dans le monde), certifiées « B Corp ». De quoi s’agit-il exactement ? Et Bees4You? (English version below)
Les entreprises certifiées B Corp sont des entreprises qui répondent aux normes les plus élevées en matière de performance sociale et environnementale, de transparence et de responsabilité légale.
La certification B Corporation va au-delà d’une certification de produit ou d’un service. Cette certification mesure toute la performance sociale et environnementale d’une entreprise. L’impact des opérations et du modèle d’affaires de l’entreprise sur les collaborateurs-trices, la communauté, l’environnement et les clients est mesuré et sans cesse amélioré.
Qu’il s’agisse de la chaîne d’approvisionnement, des inputs, des dons de bienfaisance ou des avantages sociaux, la certification B Corp prouve qu’une entreprise répond aux normes les plus élevées de performance vérifiée.
L’impact positif des entreprises certifiées B Corp est soutenu par des exigences de transparence et de responsabilité. La certification B Corp ne prouve pas seulement qu’une entreprise excelle là où elle excelle aujourd’hui – elle engage aussi à considérer l’impact des parties prenantes à long terme en l’intégrant dans la structure juridique de l’entreprise.
Bees4You soutient les entreprises dans leur politique de développement durable en organisant un service clé-en-main pour le maintien de la biodiversité. Dans ce cadre, nous collaborons avec beaucoup d’entreprises installées en Suisse qui comme nous, sont animées d’une mission sociétale et environnementale.
C’est donc tout naturellement que Bees4You s’intéresse à ce mouvement. Séverine, notre responsable Bees Dev, a eu la chance de suivre une formation spécifique en juillet 2020 pour devenir « B leader » et acquérir les compétences pour accompagner les entreprises dans leur certification B Corp. Nous sommes très satisfaits de cette étape réalisée par Séverine et la félicitons. Cela apporte clairement une valeur ajoutée à notre équipe et à notre positionnement. Nous allons par ailleurs évaluer la possibilité pour Bees4You de devenir une entreprise B Corp. Nous pouvons aussi vous accompagner dans votre réflexion si c’est quelque chose que votre entreprise envisage, et voir comment intégrer votre projet de biodiversité et d’abeilles dans vos objectifs de durabilité en entreprise.
Intervention en entreprise mais pas seulement…
Les ateliers reprennent chez certains clients, notamment Hublot et Vifor Pharma, en appliquant bien entendu attentivement les recommandations sanitaires. Des interventions en virtuel et donc à distance peuvent désormais également être organisées. Le but? Présenter aux collaborateurs de nos entreprises clientes le projet de développement durable faisant appel aux services de Bees4You avec le parrainage ou l’installation de ruchers sur site et les sensibiliser sur cette thématique importante.
Les enfants ont également l’occasion quelques fois dans l’année de se familiariser avec le monde apicole et au rôle des pollinisateurs grâce à Bees4You. C’était par exemple le cas en août des enfants inscrits aux ateliers de l’Espace Colibri. La ruche et les outils du métier ont été présentés et les enfants ont pu se divertir à la découverte du jeu de la ruche spécialement conçu par notre équipe pour cet événement.
L’automne approche
A l’approche de la saison automnale, nous arrivons à la fin du traitement anti-varroa. La mise en pots est quasiment terminée, la livraison du miel chez les clients est en cours et l’envoi des analyses de miel aura lieu le mois prochain.

B Corp certified companies are companies that meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and legal responsibility. B Corporation certification goes beyond product or service certification.
It measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. The impact of the company’s operations and business model on employees, the community, the environment and customers is measured and continuously improved.
Whether it is supply chain, inputs, charitable donations or employee benefits, B Corp certification proves that a company meets the highest standards of verified performance.
The positive impact of B Corp certified companies is supported by requirements for transparency and accountability. B Corp certification not only proves that a company excels where it excels today – it also commits to considering the long-term stakeholder impact by integrating it into the company’s legal structure.
Bees4You supports companies in their corporate social responsibility by organizing a turnkey service for the protection of biodiversity. In this context, we collaborate with many companies based in Switzerland who, like us, are driven by a social and environmental mission.
It is therefore quite natural that Bees4You is interested in this movement. Séverine, our Bees Dev manager, had the chance to follow a specific training course in July 2020 to become a « B leader » and acquire the skills to support companies in their B Corp certification. We are very satisfied with this step achieved by Séverine and congratulate her. It clearly brings an added value to our team and to our positioning. We will also evaluate the possibility for Bees4You to become a B Corp company. We can also accompany you in your thought process if this is something your company is considering, and see how to integrate your biodiversity and bee project into your corporate sustainability objectives.
Events in companies but not only…
The workshops are taking place at some clients, notably Hublot and Vifor Pharma, applying the sanitary recommendations carefully, of course. Virtual and therefore remote interventions can now also be organized. The aim? To present to the employees of our client companies the sustainable development project using the services of Bees4You with the sponsorship or installation of beehives on site, and to raise awareness of this important issue.
The children also have the opportunity a few times during the year to get acquainted with the beekeeping world and the role of pollinators thanks to Bees4You. This was the case, for example, in August, for the children registered to the workshops at the Espace Colibri. The hive and the tools of the beekeeper were presented. The children were able to have fun discovering the hive game specially designed by our team for this event.
Autumn is approaching
As the autumn season approaches, we are finishing the anti-varroa treatment, potting is almost complete, delivery of the honey to customers is underway and the honey analysis reports will be sent out next month.
