At the beginning there was the need to act: the beginning of the story. What we want to preserve at all costs and keep intact for future generations. There was the creation of BEES4YOU, the support of IDDEA and GENILEM as an innovative company in the region. And then you, who are committed! You who have a look at things, who are in the movement, s ensitive to biodiversity, the actors of our future.
A great year for us. Our ecological commitment is recognized by BIO SUISSE. This label honors our practices and our honeys. Committed to organic, we work for fairness throughout the value chain.
Because it has become urgent to move towards a more inclusive, supportive and contributing economy. In addition to our environmental impact, we want to place our social and societal impact at the heart of our raison d’être and our business model.
We act with, and thanks to you, dear committed players!
Supporting or hosting bees on site is a way of getting involved in sustainable development on a daily basis, enhancing local resources and promoting the circular economy. Bees are ambassadors for sustainable development.
This is the rural exodus of pollinating insects to our cities. Our cities welcome them with significant biodiversity, habitat opportunities and absence of pesticides. But it lacks resources. So let’s continue to build together a melliferous flora that will produce good quality nectar and pollen accessible to our pollinators.
Your actions, in addition to contributing to the preservation of bees, revalorize the balance of urban biodiversity thanks to the pollination produced by bees. Improving the urban biotope is necessary for us all, for our lives.
Your beehives are made by the Salvation Army’s carpentry workshop. We regularly collaborate with various Swiss sheltered workshops. Local involvement and solidarity are part of Bees4You’s DNA
The bee creates links within the teams thanks to the discovery workshops, awareness-raising and actions for which we collaborate. Understanding how the hive works and what is at stake means approaching the collaborative process from a different angle. It means understanding collective decision-making through the model employees that are the bees.
